Inside Technical Sales/Sales Engineer

We are currently expanding our sales department by adding an Inside Technical Sales Representative. In this entry-level position you will provide technical support to our customers on laboratory filters, filtration equipment, and other related apparatus. This person will be responsible for order processing, sales tracking, customer service, research, lead generation and providing general support for our Sales Manager and Sales Team.

Duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, and fax in a timely manner
  • Providing knowledgeable customer service and technical support
  • Lead generation
  • Order processing
  • Occasional travel for industry events and one-on-one customer visitation - less than 10%

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Science (Chemistry, Biology, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of industry experience (science background with either lab or customer/client experience)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently
  • Strong computer and MS Excel skills
  • Sales experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM a plus

Pay Range: Base salary plus commission

Marketing Manager

 

Sterlitech Corporation, a 10 year old laboratory product company and an Inc. Magazine™ fastest-growing company, is looking for a new Marketing Manager. This person is responsible for developing and implementing effective online marketing strategies to drive buyers to our websites with a goal of increasing online purchases and lead generation. The Marketing Manager utilizes their knowledge of SEO/SEM techniques, PPC campaigns, copywriting, and analysis to accomplish these goals.

 Duties will include:

  • Managing ecommerce websites – copyediting, product data, backend and frontend maintenance
  • Ad copy optimization
  • Creating newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and other scientific articles
  • Analyzing and reporting on marketing data using Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and other tools
  • Social media management (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+)
  • Develop email marketing campaigns with a strong passion for the customer experience

 Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Degree, Science degree or work experience is preferable
  • Background in online marketing with an understanding of campaign performance tracking, email best practices, and data driven marketing tactics.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with strong project management skills
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with any of the following programs is preferable: Magento ecommerce, QuickBooks, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Google Webmaster Tools
