A Better Heat Exchanger for Your Process

Retain more process fluids, save time and budget on maintenance, increase heat transfer efficiency by up to 50%, and integrate into your existing system, or upgrade to a new skid-mounted heater exchange system.

We want to do better.

To do that, we regularly seek feedback from customers regarding the challenges they face within their unique applications.

That insight returns to our product development team and they go to work figuring out how to incorporate it into future products.

We recently set our sights on a new product design in our skid mounted membrane filtration systems after receiving feedback on the current cooling method, which utilizes an in-tank coil.

  • Customers told us they lost valuable processing time to cleaning all surfaces of the coil.
  • Others struggled to reliably reach their application’s uniquely low temperature requirement because of the relatively low surface area of the chiller coil.
  • Some of our customers work with such low feed volume that the chiller coil is ineffective given it’s proximity in the tank relative to the feed.

We developed a solution you might find cool. We definitely do.

It’s a heat exchanger you can easily integrate in-line to any of our assembled skids or unassembled systems.

For those who may be unfamiliar, heat exchangers transfer heat between fluids. They’re widely used in industries involving heat sensitive feed solutions. The dairy industry to regulate milk temperatures in processing systems to meet requirements for pasteurization and food safety. They’re used to facilitate the fermentation process in breweries. In pharma, chemicals are combined, mixed, and processed at specific temperatures, for specific periods of time, using heat exchangers.

Benefits at a glance

Save time and hassle

  • Flush the heat exchanger with cleaner along with the rest of your system
  • No need to remove and scrub chiller coil in order to fully clean system
  • Lower the potential for contamination
  • Increase in allowable testing time by decreasing cleaning time
  • Retain valuable process fluids easily

Improve performance

  • 30-50% higher efficiency in heat transfer than the previously used chiller coil
  • Lower the minimum potential process fluid temperature using your existing chiller by 15% or more
  • Size down HP requirement when buying a chiller for your system

Easy integration

  • Low to no additional backpressure added to the system
  • ½” tubing process line allows for high rates with minimal additional heat generation
  • Install on any low or high pressure fluid lines with a pressure rating to 1200 PSI
  • Fully welded 316 stainless steel design allows for high chemical compatibility
  • Includes mounting bracket to easily integrate on any current system

We wanted to make sure all our existing customers could improve their processes with the new heat exchanger, so we designed it with retrofitting in mind. Any existing system can be quickly upgraded by your own team, whether on both our unassembled and skid mounted filtration systems.
