The first commercially available bench-scale tangential flow test cell of its kind, it mimics conditions representative of large-scale systems with minimal use of membrane or product. The AGMD cell offers researchers fast and accurate performance data to easily evaluate the performance of membranes and/or the efficiency of a given process with respect to their application.

November 07, 2016Precision membrane filters in pore sizes larger than 5.0 microns are hard to come by, but not at Sterlitech. One of our more popular membrane materials is Polyethersulfone (PES). The membranes are ideal for use with difficult biological solutions that tend to clog most other polymer filters, and the 0.2 micron pore size PES filter is the industry standard for sterile filtering of liquids. Sterlitech PES binds very little protein and has a very asymmetric pore structure lending to improved performance.

Sterlitech is pleased to offer Chemically Resistant and Thermally Stable membranes from Novamem, Switzerland.
PEEK and PVDF membranes are available in 25mm, 47mm disks, and 10x10cm coupons. These are also available in CF016, CF042, and Sepa Cuts.
Materials: PEEK and PVDF
Pore Size: 0.02 and 0.1 micron
PEEK (Polyether ether ketone) membranes are suitable for applications such as:
- Dialyze monomers & polymers in solvents
- Degassing of harsh chemicals
- Membrane pervaporation & membrane distillation
- Battery separators & semiconductor applications
- Nanofiltration & gas separation with user’s specific coating
PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) membranes are suitable for applications such as:
- Degassing of aqueous solutions under high pressure
- Membrane pervaporation & membrane distillation
- Removal of organic impurities from aqueous solutions
- Desalting, removal of ammonium

The first commercially available bench-scale cross/tangential flow test cell, that mimics conditions representative of large-scale DCMD systems with minimal amounts of membrane or product. This offers researchers fast and accurate performance data to easily evaluate the performance of membranes and/or the membrane separation processes.

They’re back! Last year, Sterlitech discontinued offering the economical Rocker vacuum pump series due to supply issues. We’re happy to report the issues are worked out and they’re now back to our product lineup! These pumps complement a family of durable and economical lab products designed to help your filtration needs.
The Rocker pumps include the models 300, 400, and 600 in both 110V/60Hz and 220V/50Hz units. These pumps are outstanding economical resources for wide ranging lab applications based on simple aqueous solutions. In addition to the Rocker pumps, we also offer the Rocker repair kits, when needed, to rebuild the pumps after they go past the extra mile.
