• “Collar & Recesses Format” is a thimble modification which includes an inner lip (recess) below the collar. These thimbles includes a round disc of the same thimble material, acting as a lid, converting the thimble to function as a crucible for analysis of samples.

Outer diameter measurements can be estimated by adding twice the wall thickness plus inner diameter.
