PTFE Coated Vacuum Pump Features

  • Chemical resistance & effective
Applied with PTFE-coated diaphragm and pump head with FKM valves, Rocker C-series pumps are adequate to work in milder chemical gases and be cost-effective at the same time. Tocheck chemical compatibility of Rocker products, refer to Rocker_Chemical_Compatibility_Guide.pdf
  • Oil-free & care-free
Rocker PTFE-coated pumps are driven by diaphragm that needs no lubricant, making them maintenance-free and oil-mist-free.
  • Minimized vibration & quiet
Superior weight distribution and assemblies minimize the vibration and noises and maximize stability.
  • Overheat protection
Rocker C-series pumps are equipped with overheat protection device that shuts down when overheated and resumes once cooled down, making the pumps safer and long-lasting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we do! Check out our Rocker Repair Channel here

No. Rocker vacuum pumps must be operated on a level, flat surface. Running Rocker 300 or 400 series pumps when they are tilted or not level can cause the prote® protection device inside the inlet filter to close, which may restrict airflow and reduce pump performance.

No. Rocker vacuum pumps should not be moved while operating. Before moving the pump, turn it off and open the inlet to atmosphere to release vacuum. Moving a running Rocker 300 or 400 series pump can cause the prote® protection device inside the inlet filter to close, which may restrict airflow and affect pump performance.

The Prote protection device within the inlet filter may have closed inadvertently. This commonly occurs if the pump was not level, or was moved, while operating. To reset the Prote protection device to the open position, the inlet filter bowl and filter must be removed so that the Prote float can be lowered to the open position. Once the Prote float is in the open position, the filter and bowl can be reinstalled.
