Dyed Polycarbonate Membrane, Polycarbonate Membrane

Available in black or gray, dyed polycarbonate track-etch (PCTE) membrane filters have been pigmented using a proprietary dying process to minimize membrane autofluorescence and are ideal for use with fluorescence microscopy analyses that involve direct observation and enumeration of animal cells or microorganisms labeled with fluorescent markers. 

Sterlitech offers two versions of the pigmented PCTE membrane filters to cover the broadest possible range of potential applications: Gray and Black.

The gray variation is ideal for applications where both fluorescence microscopy and conventional optical microscopy may be performed on the same sample whereas the black is ideal for applications requiring maximized contrast for optical microscopy studies of light colored particles or organisms.
