Dyed polyester (PETE) membrane filters have been pigmented to minimize membrane autofluorescence. Suitable for sterilization (gamma-radiation), a smooth and flat surface with a low non-specific absorption ensures the capture of all micro-organisms in one plane. They are optimal for applications requiring low background autofluorescence.
