Spiral Wound Elements

Operated in a tangential flow (crossflow) system, membrane elements are perfect for scaling up from flat sheet membranes to conduct more comparative testing prior to pilot scale. Ideal for small-scale production, feasibility studies, and product or process development. Elements should be tested under a combination of feed flow rates, permeate flux, operating pressure, and temperatures in order to determine optimal application conditions

Sterlitech currently offers commercially available spiral wound membrane elements in a wide range of MWCO, membrane material and surface properties.
