Nitrocellulose Mixed Ester (MCE) Membrane Filters, Advantec, 1.0 Micron, 47mm, Sterile Individual Pack, gridded, 100/Pk

These white, sterile, gridded MCE membranes are widely used for the purpose of enumeration of microorganisms and to view color reactions in water and wastewater, pharmaceutical, medical, and food/beverage applications. These membranes are constructed with a versatile mixture of cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate fibers for high recovery rates, high porosity, inertness, and superior flow rates for efficient and accurate results from microbiological and general filtration.

Sterile, Black, gridded Mixed Cellulose Esters (MCE) membrane filters - Product Feature

  • General-purpose microbiological membrane with high recovery, consistent porosity, and superior flow rates

  • Pre-sterilized and intended for single-use applications

  • Suitable for microbiological examination of water, wastewater, pharmaceuticals, food, and beverages

  • Black coloring and gridlines reduce eye fatigue and eliminate the need for counter-staining

  • Improved contrast makes yeast, mold, and other microorganisms easier to see, count, and quantify

  • Ideal for testing bottled water and beverages such as carbonated drinks, beer, and wine
