Sterlitech MCE syringe filters are made using high-quality nitrocellulose polymer (cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate). This material is easily blocked to give it a very low background.
MCE syringe filters are hydrophilic and designed for efficient clarification and filtration of aqueous samples. Common uses for these filters include medical assays and environmental contaminant testing.
