  • New Products: Sterlitech introduces the CF042 Cross-Flow Membrane Cell

For high performance applications in bench scale testing, Sterlitech is pleased to introduce the CF042 cross-flow membrane cell.

The Sterlitech CF042 membrane cell is designed to provide fast and accurate performance data with minimal amounts of product, expense, and time. The CF042 can be used with a variety of membranes and is also ideal for testing membranes.

The CF042 is generally recommended for water studies, biotechnology, food and beverage applications and membrane studies.

Some of the specifications of the CF042 include an effective Membrane Area of 42 cm2, a maximum pressure of 69 bar (1000 psig), and a maximum operating temperature of 80ºC (190ºF).

For additional information, please visit the CF042 product page on our website: Sterlitech CF042 Cell

Sterlitech Silver Membranes Preferred For Silica Testing

Sterlitech Silver Metal Membranes are the preferred method for Crystalline Silica Testing. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, NIOSH, Method 7500 specifies the use of 0.45 micron silver membrane filters for retention of collected silica samples. Pure metallic composition and precise retentiveness of the silver membrane provides an excellent support for silica analysis via x-ray diffraction, primarily due to the low level of background noise and a distinct silver diffraction peak.
