BenchRocker 2D and 3D rockers are designed to provide the precise speeds and tilt angles required for a broad range of molecular and biological mixing applications.
The MultiTherm shaker is a temperature-controlled vortexer that is useful for a variety of molecular biology applications.
The BenchBlotter Benchmark platform rocker is the first laboratory platform rocker to be optimized with the ideal rocking speed and tilt angle for blot washing, gel staining/destaining and hydridization applications.
Benchmark Bio & MiniMixer platform shakers provide a 3-dimensional "nutating" motion for moderately aggressive mixing. Chosen by labs for their versatility, these Bio & MiniMixer platform shakers can be used in both incubators and cold rooms.
Digital Linear and Orbital shakers from Scilogex feature an LCD display for speed and timer adjustment and PC control via RS-232.
The Scilogex Microplate Mixer is only 10” (L) x 6” (W) x 4” (H) and can operate 96 microtiter plates in continuous operation.

BenchRocker™ 2D & 3D Rockers

These rockers are designed to provide the precise speeds and tilt angles required for a broad range of molecular and biological mixing applications. The user can adjust both parameters to match the vessel size and the volume of liquid being mixed, yielding optimum results.

The rocking speed and tilt angle are both easily adjustable in seconds. At low speeds and minimal tilt angles, both models (2D for "see-saw" motion or 3D for "gyratory" motion) provide a gentle wave effect for non-foaming mixing, as is required for most blot washing and gel work. Then set to higher speeds and more extreme tilt angles, they produce aggressive agitation for vigorous sample mixing.

The BenchRocker 2D and 2D can accept stackable platforms (clearance = 2.75in). All platform mats are autoclavable. Both models have maintenance free brushless motors and are safe for use in cold rooms and incubators.

Lightweight and easy to carry, it can be easliy transported from the lab bench to a cold room or incubator. The large load capacity (7lbs), optional dimpled mat for centrifuge tubes and multiple platform tie-down points, make this rocker suitable for a wide variety of general purpose applications.

Two platform sizes and two rubber mat configurations allow for thorough, foam-freeing mixing in blood tubes and centrifuge tubes, as well as in a variety of flat vessels.

Both models come standard with autoclavable dimpled mats for tubes. Optional flat mats are available for mixing other vessel types. Stacking platforms are also available, effectively doubling the usable surface area of each model. Even the smallest single platform configuration has 24% more platform work surface than traditional nutating mixers.

The MiniMixer and BioMixer can handle loads up to 2kg. Both have maintenance free brushless motors and are safe for use in cold rooms and incubators.
