Empore™ Disks, C18, C8

Sterlitech’s Empore C18 and C8 bonded silica SPE disks are commonly used for the solid phase extraction of analytes from complex sample matrices. The two functional groups in these SPE disks, octadecyl (C18) and octyl (C8), can be bonded to the silica surface and provide non-polar interactions. What’s more, each of these SPE disk sorbents exhibits unique retention and selectivity properties for a particular analyte.
