Empore™ Disks, Cation Exchange-SR

Sterlitech’s Empore cation exchange-SR SPE disks are ion-exchange extraction disks made from a polystyrenedivinylbenzene copolymer that has been modified with sulfonic acid.

The cation-SR sorbent chemistry from which these Empore SPE disks are made is not bonded to silica, but is actually a 100% copolymeric particle that’s spherical, porous and cross-linked. This makes Empore cation exchange-SR disks particularly suited to cationic analytes, including primary, secondary and tertiary amines.
