MCE Membrane Filters
Sterlitech MCE membrane disc filters are made from an unsupported, naturally hydrophilic membrane. These Nitrocellulose Mixed Esters MCE membrane filters are ideal for use for general laboratory filtration, particle monitoring and in diagnostic kit manufacturing applications.

These MCE membranes are cast from a high-quality, nitrocellulose polymer (cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate). The MCE membrane thickness can be controlled to plus or minus 10 microns to accommodate various applications.

Nitrocellulose MCE is easily blocked giving a very low background. This aids in the detection of low-level analysis and makes MCE membrane ideal for use in lateral flow assays and dot/slot blotting.
