Membrane Disc Filters
Membrane Disc Filters
Membrane filtration technology utilizes membrane filters or "membranes", which are microporous films with specific pore size ratings (0.01 to 30 micron). Also known as screen, sieve, or microporous filters, membrane filters retain particles or microorganisms larger than their pore size primarily by surface capture. Some particles smaller than the stated pore size may be retained by other mechanisms.

Low protein binding, biological and clinical analysis.
Ceramic Membranes
Discs or tubes, sterile concentrations, dead-end or tangential flow.
Glass Fiber Filter
EPA Testing, pre-filters, basic filtration.
MCE, Nitrocellulose Mixed Esters
Sterile available, black or white, gridded or non-grided, culturing of organisms.
Nylon Membranes
General filtration, HPLC sample prep, organic solutions, high protein binding.
Polycarbonate Membranes (PCTE)
Hydrophilic or Hydrophobic, precisely controlled pore size, particle capture.
Polyester (PETE) Membranes
Precisely controlled pore size, particle capture, hydrophilic.
Polypropylene Membranes
Hydrophobic, broad chemical compatibility, HPLC, pre-filters also available.
